No, Ulama Institute does not knowingly collect personal information ( as defined according to COPPA) from the children.  children under 13 are not permitted. The children may be on the live video conference for the class by the consent of the Parents or Guardian account and they permitted to attend the class with them.  The Instructor may know the child’s name and age for the teaching purpose.

How The children May use ulamainstitute.com and its services? 

Ulama Institute does not permit children under the age of 13 (a “Child” or “Children”) to create an account.  Please contact us at privacy@ulamainst if you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under the age of 13, and we may delete the information as soon as possible. however, the children may attend the class with the attending of the parents and guardian, and use any materials available for them ( study materials, H.W, Quizzes, assignments) under the parent’s account name and username. 

What information do we collect from a Child User?

we don’t collect child information, the parents or guardians can provide the name and age to the instructors directly. We collect information about the Child User’s use of the Service such as (lessons completed, Quizzes, assignments ) as well as content the Child posts to the Service if such functionality is enabled by the Parent. We also collect usage and device information, as described in our Privacy Policy. We use this information to provide the Service to the Child User and for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy’s section.  We use the Parent’s email address to communicate messages about the account

How do we disclose information relating to a Child User?

Ulama Institute does not collect identified information under the age of 13. The username and progress information, along with any personal information the Parent added to the registered account, is shared with an instructor. The Parent Account may restrict the Parents that enable content-posting features should be aware that a Child User could post personally identifiable information in free-form content on the Service, and should monitor the Child User’s posts and delete personal information if needed.
