Ulama Islamic School aims to build the spirit of children using well-written and easy-to-understand English sources.
1- Build knowledge with the Quran, Hadith, Seerah, and finally the story of the Companions (Sahabah)Â with an easy explanation to understand.
This approach establishes a foundation for our kids, emphasizing that their primary source of information is indeed should be the Quran, followed by the Hadith. This approach ensures they follow the straight path and are protected from corrupted information in society. Of course, later next level learn form the scholars on on the Sunnah of Prophet Mohamed only.
2- Teach the Seerah, the biography of Prophet Muhammad, through dynamic storytelling.
This approach is more engaging and interesting for kids because humans naturally remember and love stories. Teaching our students that Prophet Muhammad is our #1 role model (the most important person who changed the world) greatly influences their developing personalities.
3- Share heroic stories from Islam, including the companions of the Prophet like Omar ibn Khattab, Prophet Muhammad’s battles, Khalid ibn al-Walid, and notable women in Islam.
These stories serve as inspiring models that boost faith and spirit. They help any Muslim connect with real Muslim heroes instead of fictional ones like Batman and Superman.
